Fish In A Coffee Table? That's Right! It's An Aquarium Coffee Table...

Want something unique and unusual as the centerpiece of your living room?

Why not try an aquarium coffee table?

Everyone loves fish tanks and many people have them in their homes; but not everyone has an fish tank coffee table.

These coffee tables are more than just a conversation starter...

It’s more than just a place to set some books or a cup of coffee…

A fish tank coffee table is art in motion!

Liquid luxury!

Taking Care of an Aquarium Coffee Table

Frankly, having one of these unique coffee tables is not for everyone.

Having a work of art in your living room is a splendid thing.

Having a work of art that contains living things that need special care is something quite different.

It’s true that fish are very low maintenance compared to other types of pets.

However, having an aquarium coffee table comes with more responsibilities than just the daily feeding.

Here are the responsibilities you face as an owner of an fish tank coffee table:

1. Algae. If you have an aquarium fish tank that is touched by sunlight during the day, algae can grow on the walls of the tank.

Algae will also grow on the walls of your aquarium coffee table if you’re not properly filtering the tank.

Although this can be a problem it’s easily remedied. All you have to do is clean the tank occasionally, make sure you have your filter hooked up correctly and you’ll be free and clear of any algae.

You can also take a more hands off approach to cleaning your aquarium coffee table by buying some algae eating fish!

2. The other major responsibility in taking care of this coffee table is getting the right fish.

You can’t just lump together into your tank a few random fish. Just like all other animals, there are species of fish that are natural enemies (or they just plain don’t get along).

Choose your fish carefully and you shouldn’t have any problems. You can also consult your local pet shop for the right fish. Just ask and they should know which fish you can put into your aquarium coffee table.

These are the only real responsibilities you’ll have as the owner of an aquarium coffee table.

Just make sure you feed the fish!

Most of these unique coffee tables have slots located around the table top to insert the fish food. This makes feeding your fish a no-hassle affair.

Where Can I Find The Best One?

40 Gallon Aquarium Coffee Table Most local stores in your area won’t carry them. An aquarium coffee table is a unique item and isn’t found in most furniture stores so your best bet is to purchase one online.

(One like the 40 gallon Midwest Tropical Fountain Aqua Coffee Table).

And don’t worry about theft when spending money online to purchase your coffee table. Most websites that receive payments are secure.

Still worried about internet security? There is a way to tell if a website you are about to purchase an order from is secure: Just check the address bar. A Regular website address is http:// but a secure website is https://. It has the added “s.”

What A Catch! Our Recommended Aquarium Coffee Tables

The Midwest Tropical Fountain 28 Gallon Coffee Table. This is truly liquid luxury. The aquatic habitat is ever-changing and creates a relaxing atmosphere. Complete with lighting, extension cord, decorative plants, food, water conditioner, two-stage submersible filter pump and AquaBlock algae inhibitor.

Midwest Tropical Fountain 40 Gallon fish tank Coffee Table. This coffee table is art in motion. It comes with the same package as the 28 gallon but features a larger, more round shape. It rests on a black acrylic pedestal with the bed of glue glass gravel being illuminated from below.

Midwest Tropical Fountain 25 Gallon Coffee Table. This is one of our favorite coffee tables. It comes with a solid 3/8 inch tempered glass top and everything the 28 and 40 gallon comes with. This coffee table has a square design and would be beautiful addition to any living space.

Midwest Tropical Fountain 15 Gallon Coffee Table/End Table. Smaller but just as beautiful as the larger version, this aquarium coffee table would look lovely as the centerpiece in a smaller room or as an end table in a larger room. Also this would be a fantastic accessory to one of the larger aquarium coffee tables. It would really create an innovative and unique flow to your home décor!
